Suki Waterhouse Released A Single... But It Didn't End Well
The model has had a stab at chart fame, but her single failed to scrape the Top 200
Suki Waterhouse might be a catwalk superstar but it seems she is a chart flop.
The genetically blessed 24-year-old model has had a stab at music fame – but has not had the best start.
Releasing a debut single titled Brutally eight weeks ago, official charts figures have shown that it failed to enter the Top 200 – and sold only 296 copies (mostly downloads).
“Suki never expected to be near the Top Ten but she’s bound to be disappointed with the figures,” a source explained to The Sun.
“She’s very passionate about music and obviously can put more of her personality into her lyrics than she can with modeling,” they added.
“But Suki clearly has a lot of work to do if she wants to build up a following with the help of her tunes,” the source continued.
Suki - who is currently on holiday in Barbados - isn’t the only model to try attempt a singing career – with other leggy beauties giving singing a go in the past.
Best mate Cara Delevingne has always professed to be a singer, but seems more focused on making movies than trying a music career.
While Tyra Banks had a failed attempt at a singing career in the early naughties – but failed.
But ‘80s Miss America superstar Vanessa Williams did have a stab at a singing career with great success – her iconic song Save The Best For Last hit number 1 in America and 3 in the UK.
Don’t give up yet, Suki!
