300 Director Confirmed For New Superman

He’s previously directed epic 300 and comic book adaptation The Watchmen, while his latest movie The Legend Of The Guardians is due out this month.

 

Snyder has been handed the job by Brit Christopher Nolan (director of   The Dark Knight and Inception) who will exec the remake.

 

Nolan’s righthand man David Goyer (Batman/ Flash Forward) will write the script.

 

Snyder told magazine Deadline: “It's early yet, but I can tell you that what David and Chris have done with the story so far definitely has given me a great insight into a way to make him feel modern.

 

“I've always felt he was kind of awesome. I'll finish (my next film) Sucker Punch and get right at it.”

 

The actor set to play the superhero- and Clark Kent- has yet to be announced, though Mad Men’s Jon Hamm has been linked to the role.
