Bryan Cranston As Lex Luthor In Superman Sequel?
Breaking Bad actor expresses his interest in playing arch villain...
Bryan Cranston has thrown his hat into the ring for the role of Lex Luthor in the sequel to Man Of Steel.
The acclaimed actor, who plays Walter White in Breaking Bad, was asked in an interview with Metro if he'd be interested in playing Superman's nemesis on the big screen.
And he directed his answer at Warner Brothers, saying: "Give me a call.
He then elaborated: "I like Lex Luthor. I think he's misunderstood. He's a loveable, sweet man."
British actor Mark Strong was linked to the role last week - and suggested that the wheels were already in motion.
The sequel to Man Of Steel is expected to be titled Superman vs Batman or Batman vs Superman - with Orlando Bloom now tipped to take on the mantle of the caped crusader.
