Man Of Steel Sequel To Feature Batman
Warner Brothers has set tongues wagging among comic book fans with the announcement that the follow-up to [uuid=5a4ab1d0-0ec3-4279-92c5-f237d276203e]Batman.
Due for release in 2015, the follow-up will see Henry Cavill reprise his role as Clark Kent, with an as-yet-unnamed star picking up the reins as the caped crusader.
Zack Snyder will again direct the new Superman movie - and will also co-write the story with David S. Goyer.
"It's official," said Snyder on stage at the San Diego event. "We are going to make another Superman movie."
And he then got actor Harry Lennix to read a passage from a famous DC Comics story to make the big announcement.
"I want you to remember, Clark, in all the years to come, in your most private moments, I want you to remember my hand at your throat. I want you to remember the one man who beat you."
The Superman S was then teamed-up with the Batman logo on the screen behind them.
The Hollywood Reporter also claims that the movie will form part of the build-up for a 2017 Justice League ensemble movie.
