Next Superman British?

After the success of the Dark Knight it was only a matter of time before Hollywood starts looking at other franchises to revamp - and make lots of money on the way.

The last Superman flick looked amazing - but lacked a very essential characteristic: a credible leading man.

According to various web blogs Hollywood studios are looking to fix this minor problem and the race is on for the role of the superhero with the tightest tights.

The obvious choice would be Tom Welling " hes been playing the young Clark Kent in Smallville for years.

There is also a British actor in the running " apparently Hollywood set its eyes on Henry Cavill, who already worn tights in The Tudors.

He auditioned for the role four years ago, and he also was shortlisted for the role of Batman.

Lets hope he gets to be Superman this time around " wouldnt it be amazing to have a Clark Kent with a British accent?
