Nolan Brothers ‘Not Working On DC Comics Universe Movies’
Film-making brothers are taking a step back...
He may have provided the story and served as producer on Zack Snyder's Man of Steel but Christopher Nolan won't be contributing to further movies in DC Comics' cinematic universe.
That’s according to his screenwriter brother Jonathan, who himself worked on The Dark Knight series.
Speaking to ComingSoon.net, Jonathan revealed that neither of them will be playing a role in the movies being lined up by Warner Bros.
"I love those guys and my brother was involved in Man of Steel with Zack (Snyder) and David (Goyer). (But) I kind of feel like that chapter for us is closed," he said.
However, that doesn’t mean he's ruled out ever being involved with the series.
"To be continued somewhere farther down the line? Maybe," he added.
The talented brothers recently teamed up to co-write the script for Interstellar.
The movie, which stars Anne Hathaway, Matthew McConaughey and Jessica Chastain, tells the story of a group of space travellers who must race against time to find a new habitable planet for the human race.
Interstellar is released in the UK on 4 November.
