Wonder Woman For Superman Vs Batman?
Exec says female superhero could feature in Man Of Steel sequel...
One of Warner Brothers' top execs has revealed that the movie studio has considered introducing Wonder Woman in the sequel to Man Of Steel.
Greg Silverman, the studio's president of creative development, told Variety that Superman Vs Batman (as the movie is currently titled) could be used to reintroduce the classic DC Comics character.
"We have been doing a lot of thinking for years about how to best use all those characters and we love them," Silverman explained.
"Wonder Woman is an amazing character. I think it's a great opportunity both for box office success, but also to have an amazingly powerful female superhero.
"We are taking it all very seriously and are trying to do a plan that's respectful to those characters and maximises the stories as best they can. So everything that has been speculated are things that we've thought about."
Wonder Woman was most famously played by Lynda Carter in a 1970s TV series - and the character was revived in a 2011 TV movie starring Adrianne Palicki.
Superman Vs Batman is reported to have started filming at the weekend.
