Gary Barlow: 'I Want Robbie Williams Back For Good'
Take That main man says he wants the man band to be a fivesome again...
Gary Barlow has declared that he definitely wants Robbie Williams to rejoin Take Thatagain for the man band's new album and stadium tour.
Speaking to The Sun, GB revealed that the decision will be made by Robbie in January - but insisted he wants his old frenemy on board.
"I'm hoping for five," he told the paper. "That would be the best and then a big, BIG tour. We’re brothers. When we’re back together in a room, it’s the same as it’s always been.
"We will all see each other in January and find out for certain then."
And he was also keen to avoid a "chart battle" with the Robster when they have records out at the same time.
"I never challenge him, he's far bigger than me," he conceded.
"We did that nearly 20 years ago but it's changed. We are great friends now, I've got a song on his record and he has one on mine."
Barlow also suggested that Take That see rock veterans The Rolling Stones as an inspiration because of their longevity.
"What makes a band like that still go on stage is that they must be having fun," he explained.
"That's the way we have it and I want it to keep on going and going."
Gary has confirmed that he'll be leaving The X Factor at the end of the current series.
