Take That Kick-Off UK Tour

Take That kicked-off their UK tour in Newcastle last night with a few treats and surprises up their boyband sleeves.

Mark, Howard, Gary and Jason got the tour underway at Newcastle Metro Radio Arena with support from Beverly Knight.

Take That worked through all their massive hits, including Back For Good, Prey and Never Forget.

TT also treated the crowd to a special version of Could It Be Magic with Robbie appearing on stage by way of magical hologram, singing re-recorded vocals that hes done especially for the tour.

Other special treats included a short blast of the Gorillaz track Dirty Harry worked into their rendition of Sure and support act Beverly Knight joining them on stage to sing Lulu's part in Relight My Fire. Lulu will do it herself for the bigger stadium dates later this year.

Take That play Newcastle again tonight (April 24), then Birmingham on Wednesday (April 26).
