Take That Planning 58-Date Tour

Over two million fans expected to see Robbie’s return...

Take That’sRobbie Williams’ comeback tour with the band; it’s thought more than two million tickets will be sold.

The tour, to kick off next summer, will mark the first Take That gigs featuring Robbie in over 15 years and the lads are hoping for unprecedented demand for tickets. “The band realise demand is high and are acting accordingly,” an insider explained. “It's unclear whether they will announce all 58 dates at once.”

Robbie, Gary, Mark, Howard and Jason will hold a press conference at The Savoy in London on 26 October to announce the stadium dates.

Rob’s so thrilled to be back with the lads that he’s already seemingly rubbishing his last solo album. In an interview earlier this week, the 36-year-old, who has sold over 50 million records as a solo artist, admitted Reality Killed The Video Star was written in a panic.

"[Lead single Bodies is] a great track but the lyrics are f**king gibberish,” Robbie told Q magazine. “Who knows what I was going on about? I was f**king stoned, the edge had gone... When suddenly you're not on top of the wave anymore and the imperial phase is over, you panic. You're left to compromise. Basically, the last album was schizophrenic.”

Take That release new album Progress on 22 November.
