Take That Star Admits Pre-Tour "Meltdown"
Mark Owen confesses to being nervous ahead of their Progress tour...
Owen, along with TT members Gary Barlow, Robbie Williams, Jason Orange and Howard Donald, will kick off their Progress tour this Friday at Sunderland's Stadium Of Light - with Owen stating that he has already started to panic over the live shows.
Speaking to Music Week, the 39-year old singer - who had a stint in rehab last year - explained: "A few weeks ago I had a pre-tour panic, a bit of a meltdown, which I went through for a couple of days."
He continued: "Not much sleep, but I came through the other end and I've been all right since. But we're confident with it now and I think the show's going to be brilliant."
As well as revealing his tour pre-tour jitters, Owen also suggested that he is more than happy to be on stage again, especially with his pal Robbie Williams back in the group's line-up.
Mark confessed: "We're having to hold him back. Rob says, 'Come on guys, let's get on with it'. We've all got enthusiasm to do a great show and that's what we've always prided ourselves on."
The singer added: "We're like kids really. We're all a bit excited about life and the tour and I'm really proud of what we've achieved. I hope everyone enjoys it."
Take That's Progress Tour will hit London's Wembley Stadium for a record-breaking eight-night stint on 30th June…we can't wait!
