Take That's Progress Tops UK Album Chart

As JLS score their fourth No.1 single with Love You More...

Take That and Robbie Williams' first LP together in over a decade has topped the UK album chart, achieving the biggest opening week sales for any record in 13 years.


According to theRihanna's latest offering Loud entered the chart in second place.


Last weeks front runner,Pinkand JLSscored their fourth UK No.1 with theirEllie Goulding's version of the Elton John classic, Your Song, entered the chart at No. 3.


Rihanna's Only Girl (In The World) fell from No.1 to fourth place while Katy Perry's Firework completed the top five UK singles.


Speaking of their chart topping single, the JLS boys told MTV UK earlier this year: "It’s not based on the chart position of the single for us, obviously as a Children In Need single, the aim is to raise as much money as possible for the cause."

"Obviously it helps if it does go to number 1 because it shows that people are really getting behind it, but for us, the point is to raise money any way you can whether it’s calling in, picking up a phone, sending a text or buying the single."


They added: "For us we want to raise as many funds as possible and I believe they raised 39 million or something like that last year and we definitely want to smash that."
