The men from Take That say no, Liam brands Russell a tosser and Baby Spices royal sprog
Have Take That gone mad?
The boys may be enjoying enormous success as their revived careers go from strength to strength, but today The Sun reports that theyve turned down the opportunity of a lifetime. No, it wasnt an offer to play at the new Wembley Stadium. Neither was it a chance to perform again with Robbie. And it wasnt going to be the first gig in space.
No, Gary, Mark, Howard and Jason have politely declined an offer to perform at none other than Coleen McLoughlins 21st birthday. You know, Wayne Rooneys missus.
A source told the tabloid: "Coleen has a team of people chasing up top bands to play at her birthday. She has a big-name music guru involved to arrange the best entertainment possible. She was desperate for Take That."
The loose-lipped mole continues: "But the lads knocked her back because they arent really up for hire for private parties." Guys, what were you thinking?
Meanwhile Liam Gallagher has fired the first volley in what could become a war of words with Russell Brand.
While being crimped and pampered for eight hours at a north London beauty salon, he made his feelings clear about the comic when one of the staff mentioned he was hosting this years Brit Awards.
An insider said: Liam smirked, laughed and muttered the word Tosser. Then he started giggling and said he always wants to run a brush through Brands bad hair whenever he sees him.
Liam also went on to explain that Russell is pals with his big brother Noel and texts him frequently. Well, winning over one out of two Gallaghers isnt bad going.
And finally theres some right royal good news for Emma Bunton.
Preggers Baby Spice has already found a Godfather for her unborn sprog - in the form of Prince William. No, youre not having a seizure. Prince William is going to be her babys Godfather.
The pair first met after a Spice Girls show when he was just 13 and had pictures of Em on his bedroom wall. Apparently theyve remained friends ever since, and Wills even voted for her during her stint on Strictly Come Dancing last year.
An insider told the Daily Star: "Wills was thrilled to bits for Emma and thinks she will make the perfect mum. He'll make a great Godparent, too. He is brilliant with kids."
