Meet the Team

Matt Cook – Director of Talent and Music Programming

Matt heads up both Talent & Music Programming departments, responsible for the music & talent policy of MTV Networks UK & Ireland.
Matt also represents the UK group on MTV's International Music Council, which delivers our international music priorities worldwide.
He has previous experience from working within artist management and at two major UK label groups, and knows his way around the wine list.

Talent and Music

Anna Karatziva – Label Director

Anna is currently on a secondment with the International TAM team working on the MTV EMAs and other international projects and events, but otherwise she would be giving Mr Cook a helping hand on all departments’ projects and initiatives, managing artist representation across MTV UK Network’s channels by working closely with key figures in the music industry.
Previous experience has included working on numerous Live Events for Radio 1, 1Xtra and the BBC Concert Orchestra! Her love for food means that the department is never short of treats…

David Mogendorff – Digital Media Director

David oversees all digital strategy for TAM UK and International, advising the International Music Council on digital strategy and coordinating global digital projects. He joined MTV from Mushroom Records in 2002 as TAM Assistant and MTV2’s representative, helping establish Gonzo on Tour and Spanking New Music Week.
Key UK digital projects have included the MTV’s Live Sessions, Brand New: 10 for 10, and a successful project with Nokia Music Store. David always carries two phones but rarely has any batteries.

Jakki Healy – TAM Executive

Jakki is the Label Rep for the Sony and Warner Groups as well as a string of key independent labels. She is the TAM representative for Hits, VIVA, VH1 & Nick UK. Jakki is part of the forward planning team, and responsible for all cross channel hosted programming stunts.
Jakki has had previous experience on the other side of the fence - having worked in the promotions department at Warners.
Jakki is uniquely stylish and publishes her very own “Shoe Of The Day”.

Alex Critchley – TAM Executive

After being lured here from the bright lights of Blackpool, Alex started her MTV & London life as an intern in 2005. Now a Talent & Music Executive, the role includes being responsible for specifically assigned labels, PR companies, projects, shoots & events.
Alex hates mornings but likes coffee & Jaffa Cakes.
Her favourite music is EMO, Rock & Metal mostly from December 2001 - February 2002.

Clare Cooke – TAM Executive

Clare is the Label Representative for EMI, Parlophone and Virgin, and also various independent PR companies. Her role includes liaising with the record labels and pluggers across promotional opportunities for talent and the MTV Brand.
Clare joined the TAM team in 2010 having previously worked in Management and PR across various Music, TV and Talent projects at 19 Entertainment.
Clare enjoys late nights and dancing, chocolate, and prides herself on being the most tanned TAM member going

Will McGillivray - Music Programming Manager

As his title suggests, Will manages the 4-strong music programming team and assists Matt in driving wider music policy, playlist, editorial strategy and forward planning for MTV's portfolio of channels.
His previous roles at MTV include New Music Editor and Channel Manager for MTV2.
He has, indisputably, the finest beard in the department, and can often be seen stroking it in London's less salubrious clubs and music venues.

Duncan Allen - Music Editor

Duncan takes care of all music based stuff for MTV Rocks & MTV Classic.
He likes being concise

Luke White - Music Editor

Luke’s role as Music Editor sees him share the editorial and planning responsibilities of the UK Music Programming team, while taking specific responsibility for MTV Hits and Viva.
Luke has been with MTV since 2006 having previously worked in music sales and licensing.
He has a dance move for every occasion… EVERY occasion.

Lindsay Wesker - Music Editor

Lindsay has been at MTV since May 1999.
Launched MTV Base, MTV Hits and MTV Dance. Currently programmes all the videos on both MTV Base and VH1.
Has worked in the music industry since 1981 as journalist and A&R manager, and worked at Kiss FM between 1986-94 as both music programmer and broadcaster.
Also presents weekly show on Colourful Radio.

Damian Luft - Music Programming Co-ordinator

A member of the music programming team since Summer 2009, Damian looks after MTV Dance. Other responsibilities include playlist meeting co-ordination and research, co-coordinating In-house music video edits and assisting with day-to-day acquisitions requirements.
Damian can be found DJing from London to Ibiza. Likes barbequed food, the Essex sunshine and wearing shorts.
Dislikes a playlist without a David Guetta production.
