A Radio DJ Is Suing Taylor Swift After Being Fired For Allegedly Groping Her
David Mueller claims he lost his job because of the 'false' claims...
In an unlikely turn of events, Taylor Swift is being sued by a Denver radio DJ after she accused him of grabbing her bum.
David Mueller, also known as 'Jackson', was working at radio station KYGO in June 2013 when the alleged incident took place during a meet and greet with Swift.
Mueller and his girlfriend were having their photo taken with the Bad Blood singer when things took a turn for the unfortunate and he allegedly "lifted up her skirt and grabbed her bottom."
He was then escorted from the premises by her security, and after a series of calls between the radio station and Swift's team, he was fired.
"The radio station was given evidence immediately after the incident. They made their independent decision," said a spokesperson for Taylor Swift.
Mueller denies the claims, with the filed lawsuit stating:
"The contention that Mr. Mueller lifted up Ms. Swift's skirt and grabbed her bottom, while standing with his girlfriend, in front of Ms. Swift's photographer and Ms. Swift's highly trained security personnel, during a company sponsored, VIP, backstage meet-and-greet, is nonsense. Particularly given that Ms. Swift's skirt is in place and is not being lifted by Mr. Mueller's hand in the photograph."
He is suing for loss of earnings of $150,000.
