Jesse Tyler Ferguson has stunned audiences with an amazing cover of Taylor Swift’s Shake It Off.

The actor, who plays Mitchell Pritchett on Modern Family, took to the stage at a benefit concert in Los Angeles last weekend.

[related]He told the Trevor Project audience: "I know what you're thinking: Why is a 39-year-old gay man singing Taylor Swift? It's making me uncomfortable," before going on to discuss the challenges he faced as a young man in (his) 1989.

Jesse's Modern Family co-star (and friend of T-Swizzle) Sarah Hyland uploaded an Instagram video clip of the performance, writing, "Two of my favorite people coming together.@jessetyler singing @taylorswift at #Trevorlive tonight. So funny!!! Killed it my fake uncle #shakeitoff."

Swifty seemed to approve of the cover version, writing: "YES YES YES THIS," and giving a link to Hyland's Instagram post on her Twitter account.
