Taylor Swift Backs Sam Smith For BRITs Win... But What About Ed Sheeran?!

Blank Space singer also tells Capital FM Breakfast Show host Dave Berry all about her anxiety dreams...

Ahead of The BRIT Awards tomorrow (February 25), Taylor Swift has weighed in on who she thinks is going to win out of pal Ed Sheeran and man of the moment Sam Smith.

During a chat with Dave Berry for The Capital FM Breakfast Show, T-Swizzle was asked who she thinks is going to come out on top at the ceremony.

Swift replied: “Ed's scrappier that's for sure! Are you talking about in a fight?”

After being informed by Berry that’s exactly what he was suggesting, the Style singer went on: “Ed could beat anyone in a fight, just because he's like a little street urchin! But only sensitive when writing songs, but in a conversation about competition or anything – scrappy!

“If we're talking about the BRITs it's Sam's year, he's having an amazing year, I love him.”

In the same interview, the 25-year old went on to reveal that despite her superstar status, she still suffers from anxiety.

Tay explained that she has anxiety dreams, before adding: “Also my reality, even when I'm not dreaming, is peppered with lots of anxiety.

“There's a dream that, any time I'm 'paparazzid' out, which is a lot, I have dreams that night that they're in my room taking pictures of me while I'm sleeping!”

Swift went on: “So I'll find myself smiling in my sleep, because I think there are people in my room taking pictures of me. Not smiling because I'm happy, smiling because I think people are taking pictures of me!”

Dave then poked fun at THOSE love life rumours, joking: “Which must be pretty horrifying for anybody that happens to be in that room with you at the same time?!”

Taylor then quipped: “No-ones ever… it's horrifying for the cats Dave! No-ones ever in my bedroom with me. Don't believe what you read!”

You can catch Taylor, Ed and Sam at The BRITs, which is set to take place at London’s O2 Arena tomorrow (Wednesday, February 25).
