The annual Forbes 100 highest paid celebrities list has been released and it turns out that the biggest earner of 2016 was none other than singer of songs Taylor Swift.

By quite a way, in fact.

Yes, Swift has made a staggering $170 million in one year – more than double her earnings in 2015.

Coming in second was One Direction at $110 million, but when you consider there are four of them,Taylor’s lead is even more impressive.

So how did she make her money? Well, having the one of the highest grossing tours of all time helps. The 1989 tour made an insane $200 million in total, add this to deals withApple and Diet Coke and you’ve got a whole lot of dollar. Holler!

Despite trouncing everyone in the Top 100, Taylor didn’t end up on the front cover of the magazine; this honour was taken by number 42 on the list Kim Kardashian.

The reality star made an insane $45 million just through her mobile game Kim Kardashian: Hollywood.

As the lady herself tweeted, not bad for a girl with no talent.
