Taylor Swift Is The Reason Ed Sheeran’s Relationship With His Fiancée Ever Happened

Taylor Swift has released a behind the scenes look at her and Ed Sheeran’s ‘End Game’ music video, during which the BFFs chat about everything from peacocking to relationships.

And it turns out there’s a cute as a button story about how Ed’s relationship with his now fiancée started, because when Taylor’s involved that’s just inevitable.

Of course we all know that Ed actually went to school with future wife Cherry Seaborn, but it wasn’t until one of Taylor’s infamous 4th of July parties that they reconnected.

You see Cherry just happened to be in Rhode Island at the time, where Tay’s fancy house is, and Ed thought he’d ask if this ‘really cool’ girl could come over.

"So the story was, I was at Taylor's party, and then a girl I went to school with who's really cool ended up being in Rhode Island," Ed explained.

"She's like, 'I'm in Rhode Island!' And I was like, 'Taylor, can she turn up?' And you were like, 'Yeah!' And here we are." To which Taylor added: “Ugh, she’s the coolest.”

So of course he just had to make sure this was in the song, with the lyrics: “I’ve made mistakes and made some choices, that's hard to deny / After the storm, something was born on the Fourth of July.”
