Country pop songstress Taylor Swift has described her upcoming fifth studio album as a "reinvention".
The 22 singer spoke to Billboard about her next LP, and revealed that she is "still learning" about song writing.
"I'm really loving collaboration right now," she explained. "I see it as a bit of an apprenticeship. I want to be around people who love writing songs and have done it for years.
"Every time I'm in a studio I'm learning, like how to build a drum track, and getting a new perspective on things. It's so thrilling to keep learning on your fifth album."
Swift - who is currently touring the world with her Red album - added: "As soon as [an album] comes out, I'm figuring out what the next one will be. It's gotten to the point where each one is a reinvention, which is what I like best."
And the I Knew You Were Trouble hitmaker plans to keep evolving musically, saying: "I like it when it sounds new and people don't know where you're going to go next."
Taylor is due to play five dates at the O2 Arena in February, and was recently spotted enjoying a pint at the pub with Ed Sheeran.
