Taylor Swift Pokes Fun At Kanye West On Twitter

Taylor Swifthas poked fun at Kanye Westwhen reacting her to 2013 MTV VMA nominations on Twitter.

 

The 23-year old, who has been named in both the Video of the Year and Best Female Video categories at this year's bash, referenced Yeezy's infamous stage invasion at the ceremony in 2009.

 

 

Swift wrote: "Two VMA nominations!! If you vote and get us one, I promise to keep a firmer grip on the mic this time ;)"

 

The I Knew You Were Trouble singer clashed with West after winning the Best Female Video award at the VMAs four years ago, with Kanye grabbing the microphone off her mid-speech to exclaim that Beyoncé should have won.

 

The moment went down in VMA history, with Queen B later inviting Taylor on stage with her after winning the Video of the Year accolade for Single Ladies so she could finish her speech.

 

Justin Timberlake and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis dominate the nominations at this year's bash, which will be held in Brooklyn, New York on Sunday, August 25.
