Taylor Swift Was 'Brutal' To Calvin Harris - According To John Newman
Singer and mate-of-Calvin, John Newman, has said that Taylor Swift's treatment of her ex was brutal
And by 'everyone' we specifically mean Calvin's mate, John Newman, who has his own thoughts on the breakdown of Talvin.
John, who was by Calv's side after the split and the fallout that followed, told The Sun that he's no longer in contact with Taylor.
He said: "From her side? Yeah, it did get brutal. I’m like Calvin, happy to take a back seat. I like my music to do the talking.
"When I tweeted that, there was a text almost immediately from Calvin. He was like, ‘Down. Now’.
"And then it all came out anyway.
No I’m not [friendly with Taylor any more], I don’t agree with what’s gone on . . . but I shouldn’t comment further.
"I wouldn’t know her well enough, weirdly. She’s in another world"
John let slip that Taylor had ghost-written Calvin's hit This Is What You Came For on Twitter, before quickly taking it down.
But it was too late and Tay-Tay and the Calvster were soon entwined in a bitter war of words.
When asked if Calvin was worried that Taylor might pen an album of songs about him, John wasn't worried.
He said: "Let’s hope not. I really like her music so they’ll be great songs either way.
But I’ve had uncomplimentary things sung about me by exes. You get on with it."
