Taylor Swift has refused to go naked in order to elevate her career, stating she is "uncomfortable" shedding her clothes for the cameras.
Unlike the many female artists before her, including superstarsRihanna and Lady GaGa, Swift has insisted that she has decided to keep a part of her life private, and that is her body.
Speaking to the Daily Telegraph, the 21-year old country star explained: "It’s just a life decision. I like wearing pretty dresses and I like trying out new styles, but I don’t feel comfortable taking my clothes off,”
She added: “I wouldn’t wear tiny amounts of clothing in my real life so I don’t think it’s necessary to wear that stuff in photo-shoots.”
In the same interview, the Love Story singer confessed that she "owes everything" to her loyal supporters, claiming she enjoys using social-networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook, as these outlets allow her to speak directly to her fans.
Taylor stated: "I spend a bit of time online every day but it's worth it because that's how [the fans and I] keep in touch. And what else am I doing? I'm jet-lagged every single day and awake at 4am."
