Taylor Swift's 'Look What You Made Me Do' Breaks Adele's VEVO Record

Ooh! Look what you made her do...

‘Break The Internet’ is very 2014 but it’s exactly what Taylor Swift just did...

The singer returned last week with a brand new single ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ and premiered its brilliant video during the 2017 MTV VMAs on Sunday night.

Despite millions watching the video during the awards show, it has broken the VEVO record for most views in 24 hours with an astounding 39 MILLION VIEWS!

This ends Adele’s 675-day reign after ‘Hello’ snatched the title from Taylor’s own ‘Bad Blood’, so it looks like Miss Swift is the Queen of VEVO once again.

‘Look What You Made Me Do’ surpassed the 27.7 million mark set by ‘Hello’ after just 18 hours, then racked up another 12 milli before the day ended.

Considering that it’s Taylor’s best (and most controversial) video to date, we’re not surprised… and it’s very deserving.

Subtlety doesn’t have a place in the reference-packed video, which extravagantly calls out everything the media have had to say about her for the last decade, and it's all the more amazing for it.
