Miley Cyrus On Britney: "I'm Proud Of Her!"

Britney Spears may have won the Ultimate Choice gong at Sunday’s Teen Choice Awards, but there is one teen in particular who couldn’t speak highly enough of comeback queen Britters.

The Womanizer singer’s biggest fan comes in the shape of Miley Cyrus who presented Britney with her award at the ceremony.

MTV News US caught up with the Tween starlet before the show kicked off, where the Hannah Montana star revealed how excited she was to join Britney on stage.

Cyrus said: "I'm doing something special with her tonight…She's a good friend of the family,"

Miley who also performed her new single, Party In The USA at the award show added: "I'm just happy to finally be able to really show everyone that she's back and she never went anywhere."

Britney and Miley both become child stars at a very young age, but Cyrus made the point that the similarities between the pair do not end there.

She claimed: "I love how successful her music is doing right now and I am just proud of her, you know, another Southern girl ... I love that."
