Teen Mom UK’s Amber Butler Explains She’s ‘In A Really Bad Place’ With Son Brooklyn’s Dad Ste Rankine – EXCLUSIVE

Don't miss brand new Teen Mom UK, starting Wednesday 14th March at 8pm on MTV!

In case you haven’t heard (say WHAT?), Teen Mom UK is BACK for series three, with Amber Butler, Chloe Patton, Megan Salmon-Ferrari, Mia Boardman and Sassi Simmonds returning to share even more of their parenthood ups and downs with us.

And of course, we are more buzzing than the most active of bees to see how all of our amazing mums are getting on.

With the brand new series just a few weeks away (don’t miss the premiere on Wednesday 14th March at 8pm on MTV!), Amber has given us a glimpse into how things have changed for her since we since last saw her on the show – and how things have been going with son Brooklyn’s dad, Ste Rankine.

CATCH UP WITH WHAT AMBER’S BEEN UP TO SINCE SERIES TWO IN THIS EXCLUSIVE VID:

Sadly, despite the pair trialling a few dates at the end of last series, it seems their relationship has hit a rocky patch, with the mum revealing that they’re on bad terms at the moment.

Speaking exclusively to MTV, Amber revealed: “Me and Ste are just in a really bad place. We’re literally not even on speaking terms. It’s like our friendship - there’s no friendship there, there’s literally nothing there no more.

“Since he’s not been in my life, I’ve actually been really happy, you know, him not knowing anything about me or about what’s going on in my life (sic).”

However, the 20-year-old added that they can’t stay like this forever, admitting: “You know, one day we will need to bang our heads together and sort everything out. We can’t keep going on not speaking.

“Even though I do feel happier, we can’t carry on like that because Brooklyn’s in the middle of it all (sic).”

We’re keeping our fingers firmly crossed that these two can sort things out very soon.

Explaining that she’s been feeling “much more positive” and that she’s now a “stronger person” (YAS!), Amber also gave us an update on how adorable two-year-old son Brooklyn is doing.

She revealed: “He went through such a bad stage of biting, kicking, punching and now he’s like, he’s not bit anyone in ages, he’s not kicked anybody and it’s all down to me being more stricter I guess, I think I was too soft on him.”

Amber added, though, that she’s finding potty training Brooklyn and getting him into a routine tricky, explaining: “He’s slowly getting there, I can’t just click my fingers and he’s in this massive brilliant routine, things do take time. I’m finding that quite challenging.”

We can't wait to see what series three holds for Amber, Brooklyn and Ste!
