Mia Boardman hasn’t always had the easiest journey through parenthood, with Teen Mom UK fans watching her go through struggles in her relationship with Manley Geddes – who she has adorable daughter Marliya with – whilst also battling her jealousy about Manley's relationship with hisex Erin, who he has daughter Aalayah with.

But despite the hard times, the brilliant mum has revealed that she has “no regrets” about being a young mum, insisting that “everything happens for a reason.”

Opening up in an exclusive interview for MTV, Mia explained how she feels about being a teen mum: “I have literally no regrets about being a teen mum. At first, I used to sit and think, ‘maybe if I was older it would’ve been different or better’, but now, I really genuinely don’t wish I was older, I don’t wish I’d waited, I don’t wish I’d had her with anyone else, like, I’m just happy with my life.

“Everything happens for a reason and I had her at this age for a reason, I had her with Manley for a reason and I would never change any of it.”

We love this, Mia.

The lovely mum, though, also spoke about the tougher moments she’s faced, revealing: “The hardest part of being a teen mum for me is that watching all your friends go off to uni, go travelling, on holidays. So, the hardest thing is that watching them and think that’s what I would be doing if I didn’t have Marliya, but then at the same time, I wouldn’t change my life now anyway. (sic)”

Mia went on to speak about how her love life changed after she started her little family, explaining that things sadly took a bad turn.

She said: “My love life after having Marliya went from one of the stars in the sky to one of the stones in the ground. Awful.

“I don’t even know what the cause was, but I just know from the minute we had Marliya, everything went wrong, which is sad really because she should’ve brought us closer and in a way, the only thing in those times she did do was keep us together for so long, but she didn’t bring us closer as in like, happy closer.”

Fingers firmly crossed that Mia and Manley can sort things this series.
