Teen Mom UK’s Mia Boardman Praises The Mums For Showing The Real Pressures Of Being A Young Parent On The Series
Teen Mom UK continues Wednesdays at 8pm on MTV UK!
Last week’s Teen Mom UK series premiere was full of relationship dramas and the true realities of being a young mum, from Amber Butler and Ste Rankine still trying to figure their co-parenting out to Sassi Simmonds and Darren Quirk trying to patch things up together.
Now, Mia Boardman – who is taking a break from the show this series – has shared her thoughts on everything that happened, praising the mums for showing what the pressures of being a parent are really like.
Watch Mia share her thoughts on the Teen Mom UK new series premiere in this video:
Speaking about Sassi and Darren’s story from the premiere episode, where they had a huge argument before later making up, Mia says: “Sassi is 100% Sassi by name, sassy by nature. She will not hold back. If she’s got a problem with you, she will tell you straight away and obviously it’s really good, but I suppose when you’re in a relationship sometimes it can backfire.”
She goes on to speak about how all of the girls have shown their lives as young mums, adding: “I just think with all of the girls in the series, throughout the whole series and throughout the past series, all relationships struggle and it shows that.
“Everyone I know that’s young that have had kids, their relationships have suffered from it and it’s just the pressures of being a young mum and young parents, young dads.”
Mia also touches on Amber and Ste’s rocky situation, saying: “They both love that little boy (son Brooklyn) so so much, you can see it in the series and obviously when I’ve met them personally so it is just a shame that they obviously argue and stuff but everyone argues and hopefully they can work through it.”
Mia may be taking a break from Teen Mom UK, but she'll be sharing her thoughts on each episode over on the Facebook and Twitter pages, so make sure to check it out!
