Farrah Abraham: Daughter And Therapy Saved My Life
Teen Mom star opens up about her darkest hours...
But the 24-year-old has been opening up in an interview with this week's Star magazine, showing that she does have a softer side after all - and sharing some of her darker moments.
Asked what being a young mother (to six-year-old daughter Sophia) has taught her, she said: "To be completely selfless. I thank Sophia for who I am now."
"Being a single mum is hard - you have to juggle bills, work and college without any support."
"There were times when I didn't want to be on this earth any more, but I snapped out of it because I wanted to be strong for her."
Asked if therapy helped her get out of that dark place too, Farrah answered: "Yes. I would advise anyone feeling like that to seek help."
20 Things You Didn't Know About Farrah Abraham
"I realised I had the choice to be happy again. I still see my therapist now. It's helped my relationships with my daughter and my parents."
"God knows what would have happened if I hadn't."
And Farrah even feels inspired enough to be considering therapy as a future career option.
"I may be a therapist one day," she continued. "I want to get a doctorate in something and help people."
But on the other hand Farrah says she might end up back in the adult film industry - but not as you might expect.
"I don't think I could be on a set and have sex all day!" she said.
"I'm more interested in the business side of the industry now."
Despite her brash appearance on CBB, Farrah insists that the British public didn't see the real her.
"I would love to show more of who I am," she said. "I'm a loving person and I have a daughter who has turned out amazingly.
"If I wasn't kind-hearted I don't think I'd be as successful as I am."
