The star of Sony's The Amazing Spider-Man movie franchise has declared that he would like to appear in a crossover with Marvel Studios' The Avengers.
Andrew Garfield told Yahoo! that he would love to see Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios' owners Disney working together to unite Spidey and Iron Man, et al on the big screen.
"I would love that. I know that the fans would love that, the fans of the Marvel universe… the more the merrier, the bigger the better," he enthused.
"I say 'never say never', you know. I think everyone would love to see that."
And director Marc Webb also threw his weight behind the idea in the interview - promoting The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
He said: "There's efforts that were made [to arrange a cameo guest spot], but obviously nothing came to fruition.
"I would love that, as a fan, I think that would be great. I don't know how that would happen, but I certainly would be supportive of it."
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is released on 18 April in the UK - and an exciting new trailer was released last week.
