Andrew Garfield 'Nearly Suffocated On Film Set'

The Amazing-Spider Man reveals danger moment during filming...

The Amazing Spider-Manstar Andrew Garfield has revealed that he almost suffocated on the set of the forthcoming superhero movie.
He explained that he sparked an emergency when he dived into a pool of water with the famous mask over his face.
The 28-year-old told the New York Daily News: "I had to get wet, and I just kind of dove in and didn't realise that water on the mask made it impossible to breathe. So I was kind of, like, suffocating. I couldn't get any oxygen! I water-boarded myself."
And he praised the film's fight co-ordinator Andy Armstrong for jumping in and pulling the mask from his face.
The movie, which is released on 3 July in the UK, [uuid=77624747-b3ff-4059-a044-880712750654]had a London premiere last week[/uuid].
