A new trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has been premiered during the Super Bowl in the US.

The nearly four-minute long promo begins with Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) at home, before detailing a chance encounter with an Oscorp employee named Max (Jamie Foxx).

We then see how Max becomes super-villain Electro - who gets enraged when Spidey fails to recognise him on their second meeting.

Named the "Enemies Unite Sizzle", the clip also gives a glimpse of Rhino (Paul Giamatti) in action.

Emma Stone and Dane DeHaan also feature in the promo - which is tagged: "When enemies unite, his greatest battle begins."

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is released on 18 April in the UK.
