Sacked Apprentice Katie: 'I Feel Robbed'
Blonde assassin gets the boot after street food task...
The Apprentice after her third appearance in the boardroom in six weeks.
Having failed to convince Sir Alan that she was worth investing in, Katie declared: "I do feel absolutely robbed."
This week's task revolved around street food as the candidates were challenged to set up a mobile restaurant in Edinburgh, Scotland, using quality ingredients.
While Team Sterling took Lord Sugar at his word and produced a Gourmet Scot Pot dish, Team Phoenix, led by Adam Corbally, opted for an Italian themed Utterly Delicious meatball stall.
Unfortunately, Adam had profit on his mind and opted for cheap ingredients and the team's meatballs were criticised by Sir Alan who said: "I've seen things like that at the zoo in the elephant pen on the floor."
Team Sterling, headed by Jenna Whittingham, stole the win by just £21 and both Katie, the self-proclaimed 'Blonde Assassin', and Azhar Siddique found themselves battling Adam in the boardroom showdown.
Project manager Adam insisted neither had contributed to the task but while Azhar was praised for standing his ground on the subject, Katie was not so lucky.
Though she insisted she had been busy "dressed as a pizza running around that place" (she really was), it was her decision to sell £5.99 meatballs to footie fans that sealed her fate.
Stepping into the black cab, she said: "I believe Adam should have been fired, he made a complete mess of this task, but the decision has been made.
"The plan was to make Lord Sugar a lot of money but it looks like I'm going to have to go off and do that by myself."
Last week Duane Bryan was fired from the show.
