SPOILER ALERT: The Apprentice Boardroom Bloodbath

Lord Sugar's finger works overtime as hapless candidates ejected...

SPOLIER ALERT: This story gives away the finale of week four.

There was blood on the boardroom floor in last night's episode of The Apprentice - with one of the most-satisfying showdowns in the programme's history.

After a web video task in which neither team covered itself in glory, Lord Sugar found himself facing Team Tenacity's Steven Ugoalah, Ella Jade Bitton and Sarah Dales in the boardroom.

And when confronted by ugly bickering between the trio, he took the unprecedented step of firing ALL THREE of them.

Canadian Ugoalah was the first to face the tycoon's firing finger, having raised eyebrows with his fiery temper and habit of shouting at rivals.

Next it was the turn of Dales to get the chop, with Lord Sugar observing that she seemed to rub the other candidates up the wrong way and telling her "there's no smoke without fire".

And finally it was the turn of project manager Bitton to get booted - despite pleading with the boss for another chance.

Her business pitch for the series was a TV production company, so the tycoon was not impressed with her failure in a closely related task.
