The Apprentice, securing Lord Sugar's investment in her planned chain of cosmetic treatment clinics.
Both the 24-year-old Northern Irishwoman and 25-year-old southerner had impressed the business tycoon with their business plans - but in the final analysis he opted to go with the "devil" in him and the higher margins offered by Leah's proposal.
He explained: "Leah's a very determined young woman, and it's a very interesting industry, and she's the most interesting candidate, and she has the most interesting business proposition."
Reacting to her win, Leah said: "To have Lord Sugar show this faith in me is absolutely unbelievable, it's amazing. I had much less experience than the other candidates in business coming in to the process and I really can't believe that I have got this far and that I've actually won it! I can't believe it.
"I'm really going to do everything that I can to prove that he has made the right decision and I won't let him down."
Headstrong Leah secured her win despite displaying a stubborn streak which saw her tell an industry expert that she was wrong during her Q&A session and insist on calling her business "Niks" ("skin" spelled backwards).
However she admitted in the post-show chat that she had complied with Lord Sugar's request to rename the business "Doctor Leah".
