'Redundancy Looming' For The Big Bang Theory
Show's producer Chuck Lorre voices his concerns about show getting stale...
The Big Bang Theory creator Chuck Lorre has warned that "redundancy is looming" for the popular sitcom unless efforts are made to keep it fresh.
Speaking to Deadline as the show begins its sixth series, the producer voiced his concern that it could become stale.
He said: "You don't want to repeat yourself. After 100-some-odd episodes, redundancy is looming."
And he insisted that the show's huge success hadn't made it any easier to put episodes together.
He said: "That has nothing to do with what you do every day - just to try and find a good story and execute it."
She told Digital Spy: "I'd like to reach the big 10 - I think that would be amazing. If people want to keep watching us, I can see no reason why it wouldn't happen."
