The Big Bang Theory's Simon Helberg Talks THOSE Casting Rumours!

The Big Bang Theory star Simon Helberg has responded to rumours regarding who will play Kaley Cuoco's character, Penny's parents in the hit show.

When quizzed about the speculation that Friends actress Lisa Kudrow could play Penny's mum, Helberg - who plays Howard on the popular sitcom - told Associated Press: "I think Kaley (Cuoco) said something. I don't know how true any of that is. Sometimes we say, 'Oh it'd be fun to have this person,' and then that becomes like a rumour. I don't know if that's true. That would be awesome.

"I haven't heard anything because they don't... I haven't even heard anything about a wedding. I have a feeling - I don't know - I have a feeling, things kind of tend to, there's always a bump in the road somewhere, so I don't know if or when they are getting married because they don't tell us about the next episode until the night before, we get the script, so it's hard to say."

He added: "They're very good at casting interesting, exciting people, so I leave it to them."
