MTV Review: The Bling Ring
Emma Watson pole dancing? What more could you want from this gem of a movie...
Audrina Patridge and Kirsten Dunst both have cameo roles in the flick, but it is of course, Emma Watson's pole-dancing which turned heads and left us a little lost for words. Who knew Hermoine Granger could be so hot? Leslie Mann also provides a refreshing break from the drama in her role as Nicki's mum.
Best WTF Moment: Nicki (Watson) finds a gun under Megan Fox's bed - instantly spelling trouble for a certain member of the gang - while our jaws also hit the floor after the group break into Audrina Patridge's house with disastrous consequences.
MTV Rating: It's the cast who give added Bling to this gem of a movie and with great direction for Sofia Coppola, The Bling Ring offers viewers an insightful look into how the rich and famous live. While Watson hits the spot with her most racy role to date, newcomers Katie Chang and Israel Broussard (who bares a striking resemblance to 1D's Harry Styles) also give a convincing first big screen performance.
However, The Bling Ring is truly a tale of obsession with celebrity culture and the blurred lines between right and wrong - which leaves more of a lasting impression than a pair of Hilton's Louboutins.
