Adele, Years & Years and James Bay lead this year’s BRIT Awards nominations with four nods apiece and are all facing off in this year’s British Single award category.

WIN SHOW & AFTER PARTY TICKETS TO THE BRIT AWARDS!

Up for British Male Solo Artist are Aphex Twin, Calvin Harris, James Bay, Jamiexx and Mark Ronson while Amy Winehouse receives a posthumous award for British Female Solo Artist, eligible following the soundtrack to the award-winning documentary about her life, 'Amy'.

While nominated in the past for seven BRITs, Amy only took home one during her career back in 2007 for British Female Solo Artist.

Adele, Florence + The Machine, Jess Glynne and Laura Marling join Amy in the category.

In the Mastercard British Album Of The Year category, Adele’s '25', Coldplay’s 'A Head Full Of Dreams', Florence + The Machine’s 'How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful', James Bay’s 'Chaos And The Calm' and Jamie xx’s 'In Colour' are all gunning for the gong.

In the International categories, Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar, Drake and Father John Misty vie for Male Solo Artist while Ariana Grande, Bjork, Lana Del Rey, Meghan Trainor and Courtney Barnett are up for International Female Solo Artist.

Major Lazer, U2, Tame Impala, Alabama Shakes and Eagles Of Death Metal are competing for International Group.

While the Global Success Award is revealed on the night, surely that’ll go to Adele, given 25 became the biggest selling album of last year after just six weeks on sale right?

It was also revealed this week that the late David Bowie will also be honoured at the ceremony on 24th February at London’s O2 Arena, however the nature of the tribute is yet to be revealed.

Performers on the night so far include Adele, Coldplay, Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Jess Glynne, Little Mix and James Bay. Eeeeeee!
