Being booed by the crowd, he told the Someone Like You hitmaker: "I'm so sorry, I can't believe I'm doing this but ladies and gentlemen — here's Blur."
Adele then abruptly left the stage to make way for the band, flicking her middle finger at the cameras as she walked off.
Boos were soon turned into cheers as Blur kicked off their performance with Girls & Boys, before welcoming ex-Eastenders star Phil Daniels on stage to help them out with hit single, Parklife.

They were then joined by a 32-piece choir to perform Tender before wrapping things up with tune, This Is A Low.
Earlier on in the night, Albarn told the crowd when picking up their Outstanding Contribution gong: "The last time we were here was 17 years ago and what happened on that night had a very profound effect on our lives,"
After thanking a lengthy list of people from their label and management team, the frontman added: "Right that's it. Thanks very much for putting up with this."
