It has been confirmed that Lorde and Disclosure will both perform at the BRIT Awards next month.

The teen singing sensation will take to the stage at the music awards ceremony in London, where she will be joined by dance duo Disclosure.

Both are first-time BRIT Award nominees, with each coming off the back of a sensational year.

New Zealand-based Lorde shot to fame last autumn with her debut track Royals, which smashed records across the globe, while Discloure’s debut album Settle got to number one in the UK.

This year Lorde celebrates her nomination for International Female Solo Artist while Disclosure’s Guy and Howard have stacked up a handful of nominations, tying with Bastille for four awards.

This year’s awards statues have been designed by legendary hat designer Philip Treacy.

Other acts performing at the 2014 BRIT Awards include Arctic Monkeys, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Bastille, Rudimental, Ellie Goulding and Pharrell Williams.
