The Calling and David Byrne For VMBs

The Calling and David Byrne will be among the performers at the 2004 MTV Video Music Brazil Awards.

This year's ceremony, taking place in the city of Sao Paulo on Tuesday (October 5), will see the two acts performing together along with Caetano Veloso.

In way of nominees, meanwhile, the Best International Video category at this year's VMBs is more tightly packed with talent than a Blazin Squad baguette.

Among those battling it out for the award are Christina Aguilera ('The Voice Within'), Blink 182 (for 'Feeling This'), Avril Lavigne ('Don't Tell Me'), Red Hot Chili Peppers ('Fortune Faded'), OutKast ('Hey Ya') and Linkin Park ('Numb').
