Hawkins Leads Hunt For eBay Mole

Justin Hawkins tracked down a copy of The Darkness unreleased new album being sold illegally on eBay " and bought it for £350.

Promotional copies of One Way Ticket To Hell And Back had only been released to a select group of music industry insiders and journalists. And now Hawkins says hes going to use the CDs unique watermark to discover who sold the album on.

"Ive bought our own album back off this character whos selling it on eBay," he said. "It cost me 350 and its going to be a tenner when its in the shops " with artwork. Its encoded so well have a name and a number " so well know which disc it is, who distributed it and who they distributed it to. And that person is going to go down."

The album was sold through the Australian arm of the online auction house.
