Justin comes out of The Darkness, The Girls go all political, Cat's got the cream and Diana Concert's hitting all the right notes...
First off today is the news that Justin Hawkins is hoping to come back out of The Darkness to make an appearance on CBB - that's Celebrity Big Brother, though, not the children's TV channel.
The former front man whose band brought glam rock back in 2003 has recently left the Priory after a long drying out period.
Other celebs tipped to appear are Germaine Jackson and transsexual antiques dealer Lauren Harries.
So with only a brief period of fame followed by drug problems to his name, he'll be a refreshing dose of normality in the house
Another lot who are trying to bring a dose of normality to a house normally populated by people who can seem a little out of touch with reality are Girls Aloud who've gone all political and given their thoughts to the high brow news focussed rag The New Statesmen.
Amongst their dazzling insights was Cheryl Cole's observation that Tory leader David Cameron knew that the girls "get listened to by young fans more than politicians do. That's why he said he fancied me. He was just trying to be cool." A picture of modesty, Cheryl!
A former MTV babe who's got no need for modesty this year, is the gorgeous Cat Deeley.
Cat's been making waves in the US for some time " it's rumoured George Clooney is a big fan - but she's now been given the highly coveted job of bringing in the New Year on the Fox Network.
Cat follows in Simon Cowell's footsteps by breaking the US TV market, though with her bubbly personality and girl next door good looks, she's a much cheerier representative of Britain abroad.
She's a Cat who's certainly got the cream - and it's Deeley-icious!
And finally is the news that the first tickets for the Concert for Diana sold out yesterday in less than 20 minutes!
More than twenty thousand tickets were up for grabs, with the first appearing on internet minutes after lines closed, at ten times their original asking price.
Ebay, the largest internet market place, have banned sales of the tickets on their site as a mark of respect to the former Princess of Wales.
But don't worry if you didn't get any this time, as organisers still have another forty thousand tickets to flog, and they'll be made available in the New Year - by which time the full line up will have been released.
At the moment, Pharrell Williams, Joss Stone, and, of course, Elton John are confirmed amongst a number of other top name acts.
Aren't they doing well! Keep it up boys!
