The Drums Sign Major Label Deal

The hotly tipped band hit Camden yesterday on a bill with Manc electro band Delphic.

 

And earlier the New York four-piece were spotted in the lobby of MTV Towers inking a contract with Island/ Universal Records

 

The Drums signed their deal and supped champagne with record label bosses at our office before heading to the Dingwalls venue for a storming set.

 

Previously the group were signed to indie label Moshi Moshi and are now expected to release their debut album through Island later this year.

 

The Drums are just the latest act to play an MTV Presents gig, Marina and the Diamonds, Rox and Delphic have also played this week.
