Tina Fey, Amy Poehler To Host Golden Globes In 2014 And 2015
Duo set to repeat successful 2013 stint...
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have been named as the hosts of the 2014 and 2015 Golden Globes.
The former SNL stars - who received widespread acclaim for their turn as hosts of the ceremony earlier this year - will take on the role for the next two years, broadcaster NBC revealed today (October 15).
NBC President of Alternative Programming Paul Telegdy said in a statement: "Tina and Amy are two of the most talented comedic writer/performers in our business and they were a major reason the Golden Globes was the most entertaining awards show of last season."
He added: "We're elated they wanted to host together again and that they committed for the next two years."
Last month, 30 Rock star Fey addressed speculation that she and good friend Poehler would once again appear as hosts.
She told Access Hollywood: "Amy and I, we'll talk about it tonight. [We'll do it] if we feel like we have like three more jokes left in our joke bag."
The star jokingly added: "NBC invited us back and so we're going to see if we think we can do it without stinking it up."
The Golden Globes will take place on January 12, 2014.
