It's Not Too Late To Get The Cat Murder Mystery Game Of Your Dreams
Here are all the details on bonkers upcoming game 'The Good Life'.
Remember that murder mystery game set in an sleepy English town in which the inhabitants turn into cats at night? The creator - Hidetaka "Swery" Suehiro, the developer behind games like Deadly Premonition - tried to raise enough funding to develop The Good Life at the end of last year.
Swery described The Good Life as "Animal Crossing meets Deadly Premonition in an English countryside, plus cats". And while the first teaser we saw intimated the game would be 2D, like Ace Attorney or Professor Layton, turns out it’s a 3D cartoon-style with some pretty unique characters such as “Gay Cat”, "Alcoholic Priest," and "Neurosurgeon Who Hates Kids” to name just three… amazing, right?!
Well, although the campaign raised a hefty $683,000, it was unfortunately didn't hit Swery's goal, so the project was temporarily shelved. Sad times.
But I have good news - he's not giving up! Swery took some time to "exhaustively analysed and re-examined [the] campaign and initial plan", and now he's back will an improved plan to launch a new crowdfunding campaign!
So if you're still desperate to play a game with a gay cat - and why wouldn't you be? - look out for Swery's relaunched campaign coming on March 26, 2018. We CANNOT wait.
Wondering what else is new in 2018? Here’s our picks of the very best new releases out now.
