The HillsstarHeidi Montag and Spencer Pratt's split is genuine.
Speidi, who announced they had separated last month have been accused of staging the breakdown of their marriage for publicity despite Montag reportedly filing for legal separation from Pratt.

Now, Heidi's pal Audrina has revealed that she is unsure whether the couple have really parted ways, suggesting they always 'do a lot of stunts' to attract media attention.
Speaking on Live With Regis & Kelly, Patridge stated: "I really don't know... This whole speculation about them getting a divorce... They do a lot of stunts so I really have a hard time believing what is real and not real."
When asked whether The Hills was real or scripted, the reality TV star replied: "You have to remember it is entertainment! I'm sure you know this."

She added: "It is reality, sometimes things really do happen and you're thrown in this situation and how you deal with it, and it's not scripted."
