Lauren Conrad's first novel, LA Candy is said to have been given the go ahead to be made into a film.

The story is about a girl named Jane Roberts who moves to Hollywood and struggles with her sudden rise to fame after being in a reality show.

We wonder where Lauren could have got her idea for that? It may also gives us an insight into some of the drama that went on behind the scenes in The Hills... We can only watch to find out!
According to Variety, the rights to make a film from Lauren's book are Temple Hill Entertainment (the guys that bought us The Twilight Saga on screen).

Lauren will also be producing the movie and said to be writing sequels.
