A new batch of photos has been released by the makers of the forthcoming JRR Tolkien movie adaptation The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
The snaps show Andy Serkis as Gollum and Sir Ian McKellen as Gandalf again - along with Hugo Weaving as Elrond the elf.

There are also a host of new characters from the book, which was a prequel to The Lord Of The Rings.
Martin Freeman appears as the lead character Bilbo Baggins in the movie - which is to be released on 14 December.
